Foil Garland |
Materials:
- fusible web
- foil wrapping paper
- string, thread, or ribbon cut to the length you want for the finished garland
- needle or hole punch
- pencil
- scissors
Instructions:
- Using an iron and following manufacturer's directions fuse two sheets of foil wrapping paper together (back to back so that both sides of the garland will show colour). Let cool.
- Use a pencil to trace or draw Christmas shapes on the foil. You can use stars, santas, stockings, snowflakes, etc. - try using cookie cutters as stencils. Cut out the shapes.
- Using the needle or hole punch, punch a hole at the top of each shape.
- Thread the shapes onto your ribbon, thread or string. Tie a knot at each end of the string.
