Easy Cinnamon Buns |
Ingredients:
- white bread dough (make this in your breadmaker according to manufacturer's instructions, or purchase unbaked bread dough from your grocer's freezer)
- 2 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 2 Tbsp butter
Method:
- Spray and 8" x 12" baking pan with oil.
- Make dough in the breadmaker or defrost frozen dough.
- Roll dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread dough with butter.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon, then with brown sugar.
- Sprinkle with raising.
- From the long side of the rectangle, roll the dough tightly.
- Pinch the edge of the roll to secure it to the roll.
- Slice the roll into 8 equal, thich pieces.
- Turn the pieces right side up and place them in the prepared pan. They should lightly touch one another.
- Cover with a towel and put the pan in a warm place. Allow dough to rise about 20 minutes to 1/2 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Bake buns until golden brown. Remove from oven. Remove buns from pan to cool on a wire rack.
