Country Miss Garden Row Markers |
Materials:
- 1- 6mm x 6" x 24" Plywood , makes 2 markers
- Jig or Scroll Saw
- Wood Sealer
- White Glue
- Fine Sandpaper
- Assorted Paint Pens
- Carbon Paper
- Assorted Acrylic Enamel Gloss Paints
- Paint Brushes - #1 Liner and #6 Round
Instructions:
- Using the carbon paper, trace two copies of the country miss pattern and two of the banner pattern onto the plywood. (Click here for the patterns.)
- Cut out the two pattern pieces using the saw.
- Sand the front, back and edges of the pieces until smooth.
- Paint each piece with a coat of wood sealer and let dry. Sand lightly.
- Paint the pieces using "COUNTRY" colors; blues, rose, white and black.
- Write the name of a vegetable or flower you will plant in your garden on the banner, using the paint pens.
- Glue the banner in position atop the pole, following the dotted lines and let dry.
